Canadian Rose in Red is a reimagining of one of my favourite paintings, originally created during my time in Canada.
I’ve taken a print of the original work and given it a new life, adding layers of red enamel paint by hand. Part print, part original, it’s a playful remix of an artwork I’ve always loved, with a little extra flavour thrown in.
Remixed print — hand embellished
Print on canvas with red enamel paint
650 × 500 mm
Presented in a Frames for the People hardwood frame
